Abstract. This research paper presents the results of the historical and comparative analysis of the modern state of insurance as an element of the risk management system for legal entities and individuals in Uzbekistan and abroad. And in local and foreign practice, the practice of using financial technologies in the insurance of risks of foreign economic activity subjects, in the realization of insurance products are analyzed. In addition, the goals and objectives of the development of insurance in Uzbekistan have been defined, taking into account the priorities of modernization of the country’s economy.
