THEORETICAL AND METHODOLOGICAL FOUNDATIONS OF FOREIGN DIRECT INVESTMENT

Abstract. The theoretical and methodological foundations of direct foreign investments have been studied. The volume of direct foreign investment attracted to our country and the trends of changes in the flow of direct foreign investment attracted to the countries of the world were analyzed. John Dunning’s eclectic theory, known as the OLI model, is theoretically grounded in the empirical study of factors that ensure TTXI engagement. The main theoretical concepts of foreign direct investments have been developed. Ways of rationally attracting foreign investors to our economy and using them effectively by creating a favorable investment environment in our country, increasing the investment potential of our economy have been considered.
