Abstract. The article develops directions for the development of digital technologies in the banking system, its implementation, improvement of banking services. As a result of the research, the theoretical and practical basis for the application of innovative technologies in the banking system, the factors affecting it, the practical measures taken in this direction by the country’s commercial banks are covered. Scientific and practical recommendations have been developed on the development of banking innovation in the context of digitization of the banking system. In order to further improve the banking business, small and large fintech companies are increasingly using artificial intelligence and digital technologies to improve customer service. Therefore, the article reveals the possibilities of creating a set of convenient, compact, popular services for its customers by using new technologies, using innovative services in commercial banks as an instrument of high importance from the point of view of economic growth through the development of the digital economy in our national economy.
