Abstract. This article is aimed at identifying the main factors affecting energy efficiency. The study analyzes indicators such as the country’s fuel-energy balance, electricity consumption by types of economic activities, and the degree of obsolescence of the main means of production in industry. In addition, practical recommendations for investing in increasing energy efficiency in the country have been developed. This research provides data-based methods for enhancing energy efficiency in the economy and industrial sectors, which will contribute to the sustainable development of the country’s economy in the future.
